Membership fees and deductions
It takes quite a lot of money to run a club such as St Ives Pistol Club, and we believe our fees (which have not increased for some years) are quite reasonable.
See the Items Covered section below for a list of items covered by your fees.
Members joining during the year will have subscriptions determined on a pro rata basis and adjusted by the scheduling of NSW Amateur Pistol Association (NSWAPA) capitation payments. For the sake of space and clarity, only the tables for pro rata fees for new adult members and transferring adult members are shown below, but equivalent pro rata fees will be calculated for spouse, student and junior members.
See the Notes on Deductions section below for the available deductions from your fees.
The Club's financial year runs from August to July. Fees are due by the end of July and a member will be non-financial and cease to be a member of the Club if fees are not paid by the end of August. If the member is allowed to rejoin, a rejoining fee of $50 will also be payable.
Note that you must be a financial member of a NSWAPA affiliated pistol club at all times during the year to retain your pistol license. The Club is required by law to report non-financial members to the NSW Firearms Registry (FAR).
